Betsy Thagard fell in love with Berkeley when she attended graduate school at Cal in the mid-1980s. In the years thereafter, she worked in London and Hong Kong as a journalist, and in Boston and San Francisco as an environmental lawyer following her graduation from Harvard Law School. But she was always heading back toward Berkeley and its beautiful neighborhoods, perfect climate, interesting people, and delicious food. Now, she wouldn't live anywhere else.

Nor would she work at any other job than as a licensed real estate broker in the East Bay. She loves being an expert on the fascinating houses and neighborhoods of Berkeley and its sister cities - Oakland, Kensington, Albany and El Cerrito.
